PHAMily Fun Day: Animals in Service

Join us for a tail-wagging good time on Saturday, April 5th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm for PHAMily Fun Day at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum! Kama‘aina and Military can enjoy $5 admission with pre-registration / $10 at the door. Members get FREE Admission!

This special community event is all about amazing animals in public service — especially our canine friends! You’ll learn about the brave dogs who have helped the military and other public service teams, along with some incredible stories of how these furry heroes made history! Keiki will have the chance to meet real-life service dogs from the Honolulu Police Department and the Honolulu Fire Department. We’re also hosting our very own Pet Adoption Fair in partnership with Oahu SPCA and Hina’s Legacy! Your ’ohana can find a new furry friend and make plans to bring them home from the adoption center. Please Note: No personal pets, only service animals are welcome.

We will also offer a variety of hands-on activities, including ones related to animals such as:
– Craft Station: Design and color your very own paper puppy!
– Art Class with Nadia Fairlamb, lead teacher at the Waimanalo Art School: Learn how to sketch your favorite animals and historic aircraft with guidance from a talented local artist!
– Kite Flying: Enjoy the breezy skies with family-friendly kite flying
– Museum Scavenger Hunt: Embark on an engaging hunt through the Museum’s exhibits.
– Historic Aircraft Exploration: Get up close with a legendary WWII flying machine!

Our April PHAMily Fun Day will be full of fun, learning, and adorable animals— so bring the whole ‘ohana and we’ll see you there!
